I reached one of my lowest points in my life in February. I could hardly sleep; I was not eating well and thus started gaining weight again. Weight that I worked so hard to lose. I was hardly happy or in my element. Everything irritated me. It was hard. In this society that talking to people only means setting a trap for yourself, I decided to deal with it myself knowing very well it’s not healthy to bottle up one’s feelings.

When I feel anxious, worried or afraid, I remember God said:
Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need and thank him for all he has done. Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus.
So, I made a decision that I needed to save myself from doom, from the pressures of life.
Am a fighter and should never give up. I kept reminding myself to allow my struggles draw me closer to Christ.
For the Bible in Proverbs 24:16 says, the righteous man will fall seven times and yet rises again. This means I need to get up and face my challenges because Christ is before me and has already conquered my storm.

Dear God,
When I’m wrong. Correct me.
When I’m lost, guide me.
When I start to give up, keep me going.

Lord, I am in a lot of pain right now. Am super confused with what you are doing with my life. But I am trusting you, Father. I know you have a plan for me, and I am ready to Follow it. So please lead me on the path that you have for me and also help me stay the course because I need you more than ever.

One day we are going to know why we go through what we go through. We are going to know why God let us wait, but until then the Bible says in Isaiah 60:22, when the time is right, I the lord will make it happen. If you are waiting on that door from him but until it opens, praise him in the hallway or the waiting room, for he is preparing the unthinkable.

Proverbs 3, Trust in the lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding but in all your ways, acknowledge him and he will lead your path straight.
I allow Jesus to be the light in my path and the lamp to my feet. Thank you for allowing me to see today. Thank you for your blessings and for your grace.

We will go through the hard times, the fiery times, the overwhelming times, but never alone, and never without His helpful, guiding hands.
“When you go through deep waters, I will be with you. When you go through rivers of difficulty, you will not drown.
When you walk through the fire of oppression,
you will not be burned up; the flames will not consume you. “
Isaiah 43:2

May the cause of our downfall also be the cause of our salvation.
