Calm In The Midst Of The Storm
Peace in the midst of the storm, peace in the midst the storm, you never said it will be easy, you never said there won’t be trials but you said no matter what, you are my peace in the midst of the storm……..lovely song
Not all storms come to disrupt our life. Some come to clear the path. So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.— Isaiah 41:10
I said to myself, relax and rest. God is in control. He has showered you with his blessings. My week started on a very low note. I had not finished most of my previous week’s activities and even though the month has just started I was already broke in my own way……economy vrs salary mismatch.
One thing I can always count on is God bringing me out of a dark place. So I went to church mid week through a friend’s recommendation and it was worth it in all sense. The peace and calmness was overwhelming. I was glowing in all my glory, I felt it. Bringing me closer to Christ is the ultimate and we need such people in our lives. Those who exult positivity, those that are good for our soul.
Stations of the cross was on Friday and I was advised to attend so I did….., actually I needed to go. All I can say is, it had been a while and it felt good. Once a while, just enter the church, even if you don’t have a prayer, just sit there in silence, God knows our heart and will respond accordingly, in his own time.
The fact that God is redirecting your ways doesn’t mean the devil will leave you alone. Challenges and temptations will come, you might be forced into your old ways again but remember the calm and the peace and stay strong. Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you.— 1 Peter 5:7
MY PRAYER
Lord, cleanse our thoughts of anger and worry. I know worry isn’t your will for us. Please provide for all our needs as promised in your word. We give to you all our fears, care and troubles as You have told us to do. Bring peace and comfort to our hearts and help us rest in You. Forgive us of any sin We have committed knowingly and unknowingly, in our thoughts, in our words and in what We have failed to even do. Fill our heart with your peace and love Thank you lord for always being there. Amen.
The reason God wakes us up in the morning is because he still has something for us, he still has plans for us. If he was through with you, you wouldn’t wake up no more. So as long as we keep waking up, it means our time on earth isn’t over, it means we have not accomplished our mission. It mean He isn’t done with us yet, So let us decide to live each day, be happy, worship Him every little chance We get, look forward to the challenges, the test or the reward he has in store for us every single day. Enjoy the process
